WST (Within Schools Maths Teacher 2025): I was responsible for the implementation of the 'Maths No Problem' program in classes throughout the school. This included modelling lessons for teachers not only in our school, but within our Kahui Ako. This role required extensive professional development which was then shared with all staff.
Extension Maths: I maintained this role throughout my time at Otumoetai Intermediate. It includes delivering a numeracy programme that includes extension mathematics and problem solving for the highest attaining 60 students in the school (there are currently 960 students at OIS).
Working with families: A strength I have is the ability to work with whanau through a partnership of whanaungatanga and kaitiakitanga. Otumoetai is an iwi-strong community where a shared partnership with school is critically important.
