• Manage & process claims for a database of 600 plus clients.
• Daily customer contact, updating of client files as needed, preparing new documentation to standards as required by the NZTA.

• Communication skills required as at times we need to ask difficult questions or ask for information that may be considered invasive.
• Meet KPI's as set by management based on accuracy, claims processed & helping the team meet their individual KPI's.

For 2 years prior to this role, I worked on the onboarding team, where we cold called potential clients, answered any questions they had around claiming & brought them on as clients.

Independent Contractor to 99 Corporation.

• Carried out cold calling, database entry & updating for various clients as requested by 99 Corporation.
• Filed daily returns to 99 so that work was easily measured & their clients could see the daily progress being made.
• Met targets for calls per hour or new client leads as set out by 99's clients.

• Reception duties as required by owner
• Answering of incoming calls, emails & correspondence, first contact for customer walk ins
• Preparing & filing documents as required- Home loan & Insurance
• Support as needed to the Loan officer
• Sat in on client interviews with the business owner so I had a good understanding of clients needs & were able to support him in making Insurance/ Home loan offers.

I opted to be at home with my then 3 year old & newborn.

• Over this time, I did Volunteer work for Parent & Child, becoming their Baby & You Coordinator, & helped with their Antenatal classes.
• I became an Easymind Home Educator to supplement our income & give my children peer company.
• I set up my own Avon business & made Presidents Club in the first year. I built a large, loyal client base.
• I volunteered on the Greenmeadows School PTA where I stayed while both children went through the school, then I joined the Taradale High School PTA where I remained for 6 years.

Worked my way through Teller, all areas of the Customer Service Dept & eventually became an Account Manager.

• High level of accuracy, thinking outside of the box & organisational skills needed for all roles.
• Prepare documents correctly, explain the contents to clients, ensure they understood the contracts they were signing.
• Face to face & phone contact with clients.
• Working to strict rules & regulations.
• Keeping clients information confidential was a must.
• Required to be relatable as you meet people in all stages of their life, a good sense of humour , understanding & empathy was key in building good relationships with clients. They always had a choice about who they banked with & we prided ourselves on knowing our clients well.
