I started at Clearskincare as a Senior Therapist in Sydney, in a clinic directly reporting to Dr. Phillippa McCaffery.

After two years I moved back to Auckland and opened my own clinic - Clearskincare Newmarket.

I oversaw all aspects of starting up and running this business, such as:

• New clinic fit out
• Hiring and training staff
• Building client base

The clinic grew to be one of the most profitable in the company. From there I went on to open a second clinic in Takapuna.

My role grew to 'Area Manager in NZ' and responsibilities included:

• Opening new clinics
• Establish and support teams to reach KPI's and clinic targets
• Interviewed and assisted with recruitment of staff
• Direct contact to clinic managers
• Completed clinical trialing
• Trouble shooting and liaison

I was self employed working on my own in a space I rented in Ponsonby.

I had a great, loyal, client base and really enjoyed my time working independently. I developed resilience and the ability to be adaptive. This was within a recession period, at which time I decided to close down my business and explore opportunities in Sydney.

This was my first job out of training college. I worked hard, took advantage of the opportunities offered, and quickly worked my way up to senior therapist and then Manager. As Manager I oversaw the new business for Skinsense in Mairangi Bay.
