Community Involvement

I love snowboarding, and so growing up I was always up the mountain, in the parks, hitting jumps, or entering competitions. Now, I like to involve myself in pushing women into snowboarding, and helping many gain confidence in themselves. I'm proud to say I am part of two films;

  • Cardrona “All In” - a film that recognizes the imbalance of women to men within the snowboard community, highlighting the challenges that women face and strives for a more equitable future within the snow sports industry, and therefore women in any industry.
  • ‘She’ll be right' - an all-girls film celebrating the women within the New Zealand snowboard industry.

As well as this, I coached for 'The Ladylike Movement', a 100% female, hometown (Queenstown and Wanaka) organisation that aims to empower and inspire others, and challenges what it means to be 'ladylike'.
