I had one week of experience with jib stopping, learning my way around the tools and techniques of what to do. It was very different from what I had done in the past, but I enjoyed it a lot and made sure to be intuitive.

Working eight to ten-hour days for one week.

I wasn't perfect at first, but once I got the hang of it, I did well.

My experience as a picker/packer. I started not too long after my 16th birthday. I was scanning and placing Kmart stock to their designated pallet, as well as moving the pallets toward the wrapping area. Once my coworkers and I saw that the managers kept a scan sheet, I made sure that I was always in the top three, being very competitive. Scanning 1 kg to 30 kg boxes.

Once the team noticed I was a hard worker, they moved me to the wrappers team, where I would wrap the pallets that the scanners brought to me.

As a wrapper, I would often finish early, so I would sweep our area.

I had one week of experience on a pallet driver, but it was not for me, and I stuck to wrapping.

Over time, I would work around other areas in the D.C.

Although I only worked at Kmart DC for a few months, it was a great experience.

Since I was 7, I have mowed lawns, fixed gardens, and have done outdoor washing.

As I got older, I gained more experience.

When I was 15, I joined my uncle's business; he had a landscaping company working on properties ranging from small to extra-large.

Lawns, weed eating, using a blower, water blasting, gardening, and moving heavy objects.

I have always had a passion for landscaping.

I still do the odd project, and I am currently working on a house today, working towards building something where I landscape for people in my area for free.
