Craig Horan (Self employed Tiler) / Avocado Orchard owner/ Pastor Maungatapere Community Church
I have been self employed running my own boutique graphic design, marketing and print management solutions company since 2001. My husband started his own Tiling business, TileStyle in 1995, my role in the business is all the geneal administration from monthly payables, receivables, quotes, invoicing, GST, payroll, employment contracts, and the general day to day communication and running of the business.
My husband & I moved to Whangarei in 2005 where we purchased a 20 acre Avocado orchard and built our first home. Since 2005 I have taken care of all the staffing requirements, accounts & administration for the Orchard as well as TileStyle.
In 2011, I decided to become a Teacher Aide, to gain skills to understand learning behaviours and help my own children. I studied for 18 months and enjoyed this part time role at the school working with, and helping children with learning difficulties.
I was very active within the schools my daughters attended with fundraising events, managing netball teams school trips, camps etc.
I started the mainly music program for pre school age at Maungatapere Community Church in 2007 and still continue to serve in this voluntary role every Thursday morning.
Craig & I have always been very active in the life of church, since we have been married we have served in all areas of the church, and we are now the current Pastors of Maungatapere Community Church since March 2023.
