A proud Māori and Cook Islands Māori from Aotearoa (New Zealand), deeply connected to both my heritages. I offer over 14 years of experience in a variety of roles across the public and private sectors in New Zealand and the Cook Islands. I specialize in relationship-building, connecting science and students, and building a well-rounded, robust team. The varying roles this has been carried out through include administrative roles in local councils, tour manager, surveying and analyzing data from marine reserves, teaching, and managerial roles in secondary schools.

These roles have influenced my already enthusiastic personality, as well as equipped me with skills such as exceptional adaptability, great organization, time management, excellent positive relationship building, and enhanced my leadership skills. As stated, I consider my relationship-building to be an excellent skill that I possess; this has included building positive relationships with students, colleagues, employers, and the wider community. These skills and personality traits have been fine tuned through my various under graduate and post graduate degrees that are listed in this CV. I will always keep expanding on these achievements, and look forward to furthering my learning opportunities.
