Summary

I consider myself a versatile, experienced and well-rounded person who adapts easily to different environments and situations having worked in various different places and countries around the world., namely UK, Australia & New Zealand. Ive been told I handle pressure well and can multitask effectively when need be. I’ve been a registered nurse & midwife for many years and worked in a variety of places over this time - mainly in acute nursing areas & had the advantage of nursing in both rural and urban settings. Some of the main areas where I’ve worked include: Emergency Department, Recovery/PACU, Cardiac Investigation Unit, ICU, HDU, Independent Midwifery Practice, Hospital Midwife, Practice Nurse, WellChild Nursing, Mobile Nurse, Specialist Community Nurse/District Nurse, Telehealth Nurse, Medical/Surgical nursing etc. I am therefore committed to providing a service to patients in a caring, personal and professional way. I believe in holistic medicine and total involvement of the family to help recuperate patients from their illnesses/injuries. Working as a team with other health professionals as well as nurses, to promote the recovering patient and respecting their needs, cares and considerations. I also have a passion for travelling & meeting new people. I therefore take up opportunities when I can to “travel & work” - especially in countries near my home.
