Projects

Epidemiology of MSK injuries in Futsal players in the UK. Prevalence of neck pain and its impact on activities of daily life in madrasah students of Pakistan. Musculoskeletal disorders and its effects on functional independence in people with spinal cord injury in Pakistan. Peer assisted learning versus traditional learning in physiotherapy graduates.

Accomplishments

  • I have been appointed as the academic coordinator at the Paraplegic Centre to establish a college called the College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for the undergraduate physiotherapy program. Within one year, our collaborative team efforts have successfully recruited the first batch of students. In addition, the college has recently introduced undergraduate programs in occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.

Affiliations

  • During my studies at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, I not only secured gold medals in both bachelor's and master's programs, but also served as the chief organizer for the annual sports gala three times. I had also served as an organizer for many national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars.
