- Performing physical tasks such as radio coms with pilot to position vessel to wharf, crane operation and attaching hoses to main manifolds on vessel.
- Handling emergency situations promptly and professionally, mitigating potential risks to personnel or property damage at terminal facility. Health and Safety is a big focus on this role.
- Maintaining No Go zone around the wharf itself.
- Implementing safe handling of chemicals and petrochemicals
- Taking readings and record data.
- Handling and testing liquid assets, checking for purity, signs of contamination
- Consistent and clear radio coms across multiple industries (BP, Z, MOBIL, NZOSL)
- Responsible for integrity monitoring of all terminal valves, and patrolling line whilst pumping fuel.
