I started working at the George Street franchise as a sandwich artist. My role was to provide customers with exceptional service, prepare food in a safe and timely manner making sure that the restaurant was in a tidy and thoroughly clean condition at all times.
I was offered the opportunity and promoted to Duty Manager with which I welcomed a role with more responsibilities such as;
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Being responsible to deal with any matters that may have arisen during my shift.
- Training and directing new sandwich artists to be successful in their role
- Receiving deliveries, stock take
- Counting the till and depositing money
I transferred to the Andersons bay subway franchise and assumed my duties before stepping away to focus on my growing family.
