Summary

I have been a midwife for 22 years. I still get excited about coming to work - I love my job.

I think we are in such a privileged position to help and support pregnant people through such a formative period in their lives. I am acutely aware of how pregnancy and birth experiences can shape someone's life forever. Good midwifery care is at the heart of ensuring good outcomes, both physically and mentally for everyone involved.

I bring a wealth of experience across the scope of midwifery, from supporting normal, low risk clients at home to caring for the highly complex HDU clients.

I have a really positive, enthusiastic and professional personality. I love the team work and friendships that are created at work due to the nature of what we do. I like to support other midwives, and believe I am approachable and a good teacher.

I am extremely keen to return to a forward thinking, dynamic hospital, as this is where I thrive.
