I am a soon to be a qualified midwife with a deep passion for supporting women through the incredible journey of motherhood. As a mother of four, I understand the challenges and joys that come with pregnancy and childbirth. Born and raised in New Zealand, I began my midwifery studies after raising my family, driven by a desire to give back and help other women during this transformative time. I worked at our local school as a teacher aide, working with high needs children which engaged my empathetic side and taught me patience and dedication. I spent many years coaching a regional youth rep netball team, which strengthened my leadership skills. My commitment to ethical care is at the heart of everything I do, and I bring resilience and mental strength to my role, these are some qualities I honed through my participation in charity kickboxing matches where we raised money for suicide, Cerebral palsy and the Breast cancer association over a 6 year period. I’m excited to bring my experience, compassion, and dedication to a midwifery role, where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and families.
