Summary

Kia ora, Talofa, Namaste, I am a New Zealand primary trained teacher with 23 years teaching experience, and 22 of them being at management level with varying responsibilities.

I am passionate about education and connecting with people is what I love to do. Before I became a teacher, I always knew my vocation was going to lead me to connecting with tamariki and rangatahi. My career started with years of working with families and youth. This was at Cholmondeley Children's' Home for almost eight years, to then leave and set up a family home through a Trust and then mentoring and supporting 10 foster children.

Education was a natural progression to know that I could really make a difference. I am extremely proud of what I have achieved and having recently been seconded to a school under statutory management as an Acting Principal has consolidated my thinking about my new pathway as a leader.
