Kayla Rose

I am a driven Year 10 student at Wakatipu High School, graduating in 2028, with a strong background in problem-solving, working in teams, and communicating. I have developed leadership skills through voluntary positions, including Whanau Captain and being a Peer Mediator, where I was responsible for resolving disputes among students and leading group activities. Academically, I have been awarded several Ākonga Passport Awards, which recognise personal values such as student courage and active engagement in school, as well as a Commendation in Science. In my extracurricular activities, I play badminton and netball. I have also volunteered in environmental projects, such as with EnviroSchool, which proves a passion for community building!
