• Provided dedicated one-on-one and small group support to students with high learning, behavioural, and medical needs across a range of educational settings.
• Built strong, respectful relationships with students, prioritising trust, safety, and emotional wellbeing.
• Supported students with Autism (including non-verbal students), ADHD, and complex behavioural needs, adapting support strategies to individual learning styles.
• Assisted students with high medical needs, including epilepsy and Type 1 diabetes, ensuring safety, monitoring wellbeing, and following care plans.

Over the years I have taken in youths, known and unknown to me, that have needed guidance and care for a number of reasons, usually around needing care and protection or at times just a safe place to be, away from harmful home environments.

Have also cared for and fully supported youths going through the youth justice system.

Worked closely with Oranga Tamariki while caring for a number of these youths.
