Starting off working at 15 years old i wasn't able to do as much due to the company operating machinery. I would mainly do jobs they needed to be done around the yard which consisted of refilling containers and washing machinery and a variety of other small jobs. I would also go out and do most of the gun spraying jobs around the area which was challenging at times. Over the past few years I've been able to learn drive the machinery now confidently and now am able to drive the tractors and land cruisers out to various jobs around the Waikato which has been a great skill to learn. With the job came breakdowns more often than not. I was able to get a basic knowledge of fixing machinery during my time which will be beneficial to me in the future. Working at Spraylink has taught me how to work hard and get the job done to a high standard while always being able to learn and ask questions when needed.
