Professional experience

  • Baby Sitting - Supervised younger friends and family, also preparing meals and making sure they are kept safe.
  • Lawn Mowing and Outdoor Maintenance - I mow lawns and do gardening at my house and the wider community to make pocket money.
  • Helped at my mums accounting firm - Filling and reception.


I am currently looking for my first formal job, I am keen to develop my skills further. My experience in babysitting, lawn mowing, and helping with my mum’s business has taught me to be responsible, reliable, and hardworking.”

Accomplishments

I have been actively involved in a range of competitive sports, which have helped me build resilience, leadership and teamwork skills. In rowing I was awarded the seat off origen trophy for the most outstanding U15 crew, in order to receive this I earned silver in the U15 Octuple at the New Zealand Secondary School Rowing Championships and placed 2nd in both the U18 Novice Eight and U15 Octuple at the North Island Championships. My dedication was further recognised through earning team and junior colours for my school. I also played as a part of the St peters first ever 1st XV girls rugby team, which was named the most improved team for the year. I played a part of the St peters premier basketball team. In addition to these commitments, I also captained my 11a netball team, a role that strengthened my communication and leadership skills. Having to balance this many commitments at a high level has taught me the importance of discipline, time management and perseverance. These qualities I will bring to every challenge I face.

Interests

I’m excited about the opportunity to work in Waihi Beach, as I enjoy spending many weekends there at my family’s beach house I like keeping active through sports such as rowing and enjoy spending time with friends These interests reflect my positive attitude, energy, and strong teamwork skills, which I bring to any role I take on
