Kelvin kingsbeer

A summary about me and my working life and the career i have created from it. I am 30 years old and grew up in Gisborne New Zealand. Growing up i spent most of my time after school and weekends at my parents business which started my passion for trucking. From the young age you could find me down at my parents work washing a truck or helping in any way i could. At 16 i decided to leave school and complete a 1 year pre apprenticeship for automotive whilst working driving small trucks for the family business in the weekends. After finishing my pre-apprenticeship i worked as a mechanic for a year and a half, before realizing my passion was in trucks and transport. I valued growing up this way as it has taught many life lessons and has driven me to be hard working, forward thinking and disciplined. A few years later i moved to tauranga and helped run our depot there, later deciding to branch out i wanted to gain experience in other fields of the transport industry. I decide to work for a local company transporting containers and kiwi fruit, also container tipping from the port, i was then presented with the opportunity to join the team at Ixom in 2018 where i have been ever since and i have loved every minute. I have gained life time friends and skills i never thought i would have been able to achieve.

In my spare time i like to travel and socialize, i have traveled to 36 countries, my hobbies include snow boarding and going to the gym, im also passionate in buying and selling property renovating and subdividing, completing 6 personal projects in the last 4 years, id love to continue this in austrailia.
