Outpatient Clinic consists of a variety of different clinics, that take place throughout the week. Completed a 5 week placement.

  • Assisted in assessment and care of patients across various outpatient specialties
  • Recorded vital signs, bladders scans, peak flow tests, assisted in cystoscopies under supervision of precepting RN
  • Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to co-ordinate patient care under supervision of precepting RN
  • Maintained accurate documentation
  • Shadowed House Officers and Registrars in order to gain a deeper knowledge of the various specialties present such as otorhinolaryngology, cystoscope clinic, skin clinic, respiratory clinic.

Toru Ward (formerly Ward 8)

Toru is a 30 bed ward, with a General Surgical focus in colorectal, breast and endocrine surgery. Completed an 8 week placement.
