Pou Whatu role entails

  • Organising kaupapa Māori social or educational events for all Māori tauira to participate in.
  • Being a constant figure in the whānau room where students can come for support or help.
  • Offer support with their academic studies, wellbeing support, financial and scholarship support/guidance, connecting students to ākonga Māori groups and networks.
