· Supply and installation of steel trestle replacement at Piers 3, 4, 5 and 6

· Supply and Install linkage brackets at each of the Girder connections.

· Tekapo - Combined Potable Water Reticulation Works

Client: New Zealand Defence Force

Timeframe: March 2024- Present

Project Scope:

· Separable Portion 1-

· 1300m of 180mm diameter PE water pipe

· - 900m of 32mm diameter PE water pipe

· - 260m of 50mm diameter PW water pipe

· Separable Portion 2-

· Tie into water mains at Braemer Rd

· - 700m of 110mm PE water pipe

· - 70m long bridge – design and build

· - Two concrete abutments

· Eastern Terrace Water Supply Trunk Main Renewal:

Value $17.6M,

Timeframe: September 2021-September 2023

Project Scope:

· 2,455m of DN600 DI in the Beckenham area of Christchurch

· 1,308m of DN180 PE100 pipe along Eastern Terrace.

· 102m of DN600 DI crossing the Heathcote River including the pipe on Palatine Terrace carriageway and the pipe from Heathcote Riverbank to 113 Malcolm Avenue.


· Sydenham WS PS Suction Tank:

Value: $5.9M

Timeframe: September 2022- November 2023

Project Scope:

· Demolish the damaged suction tank at Sydenham Water Supply Pump Station

· Demolish the existing temporary suction tanks and pipework

· Construct a new 500m³ NDA stainless steel suction tank.

Project Scope:

Contract Works, as follows:

· Demolition of the existing concrete tank

· Construction of a new 5,000m3 concrete tank and associated pipework and electrical upgrades

· Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant Emergency Works

Value: $6.3M

Client: Christchurch City Council

Timeframe: Feb 2022-May 2023

· Project Scope:

This project was to undertake emergency repairs, and construction to multiple sections of the Wastewater Treatment plant, that were impacted by a large fire to the existing trickling filter process at the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant.

· The resulting damage of this fire was to the main secondary treatment process,

Seipp Construction were Contracted to undertake an immediate response to help get two main components of the treatment process up and running.

The scope was for the following:

Construction of a new bypass pipeline to bypass the existing tricking filter system, capable of 1400l/s flow rates.

Construction of a new treatment system utilizing aerators within two of the existing four clarifier tanks, including over pumping system for 2000l/s

Seipp Construction was heavily involved in identifying the concepts and solutions, which were then developed/designed into a working system. The resulting works involved the following

Bypass Construction

· Construction of a Twin Bypass Pipeline, using 2 x 630mm HDPE bypass pipes.

· Temporary and Permanent Overground supports

· Concrete protection slab, and slabs for supports

Aerator and Over pumping Construction

· Supply and installation of 16 Over pumping Pumps

· Supply and Installation of the 280 and 630mm HDPE pipework for all 16 pumps

· Temporary and Permanent Overground Supports

· New 11kva Line and Transformer

· MLC-P Switch building Construction

· Switchboard supply and installation

· PLC Supply and Installation and Scada install

· All associated electrical installation works

· Commissioning of the full system

  • Project Scope: The scope of works comprised initial civil works to upgrade the bases wastewater and potable water systems. Works were split into three separable portions.
  • SP1 Construction of a new main base pumpstation and Pipeline to convey all sewer from the base to a council wastewater pumpstation in Sanson, 5.5km away
  • SP2: Construction of a new wastewater pumpstation to convey sewer from new hangers to the main base wastewater network.
  • SP3: Construction of new potable water treatment and infrastructure. Connecting the base to a new potable water pipeline.
