Kiev Morden

Specialising in timber framing I have fabricated and constructed many timber framed pavilions and pergolas with my team. I have also done a large amount of general construction work including home remodels, window and door installations, commercial framing, concrete work and landscaping. I have experience in leading a small work crew over a large range of jobs. While working for this company I have learned to work well under pressure and to always prioritize setting my co-workers up for success.

While I worked at Workman's I learned a lot about hospitality and customer service. More specifically I Iearned some mixology and barista skills as well as food safety standards/ procedures. Another thing I learned while working here was the importance of managing and defusing stress in the workplace as much as possible. I find that the difference in productivity between a team motivated by stress, and a team motivated by positive goals and affirmation is enormous. For me, a stress-free work environment has remained a high priority to maintain throughout my later occupations.
