  • Managing accounts in the Samoa & American Samoa markets and all key accounts as of December 2015 till the end of my tenure at Tropex
  • I undertook regular market visits to these locations
  • I developed a new timber supplier for my previous employer
  • The mill was McAlpines Rotorua in 2016, we recorded over 1 million dollars of business with them for the 2016 financial year
  • Growing a key account for a customer based in Aitutaki to $750,000 NZD (approx) total sales for 2016 financial year, this account netted $150,000 NZD total yearly sales (approx) when I was given total responsibility for the account in 2011
  • I worked closely with shipping lines PIL/PDL and Swire Shipping to improve our transhipment (ex North Asia and S.E Asia Containerised) freight rates for Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga and the Cook Islands
  • Employing targeted sales strategy on a customer by customer basis, also on a product by product basis to achieve best results
  • Developed an offer for cement and other mixed building materials as well as non-perishable food items ex Fiji after a sales trip with my customers from Aitutaki
  • We called on potential suppliers together during this Fiji market visit
  • The volume and frequency of this business was 1 x 20’ FCL per month
