I am a descendant of Ōpōtiki, where I was born and raised. I have a partner and together we have five tamariki. My tamariki have been brought up within a kaupapa Māori environment – something I did not have growing up. Because of this, my love and commitment to supporting my whānau, hapū, and iwi to live well has grown even stronger.

I have a deep passion for nurturing whānau through kai, as I believe it is a powerful way to bring people together. I see myself as a positive role model within my iwi, and I stand firmly in tika and pono in everything I do. Helping others is a true calling for me – it is work that comes from the heart.
