Working at emf Switchboards gave me experience in working in the electrical trade industry as well as in a small family business. Being cross-trained in daily procedures has helped me to understand how each part of a business works together. The challenge of having a small team made it particularly important to make sure sales & marketing worked close together This has helped me to think and plan ahead should any urgent task arise.


Past Roles:

- Ordering/ procurement for stock and jobs.

- Labourer/ moving stock, labeling, filing

- Create mailchimp Newsletter p/month

Worked first as a shop assistant re-stocking freezers in a factory food outlet shop. This gave me great work experience to be part of a team in a fast paced environment, as well as learning to be a confident and accoutable team player. My next achievement was being made freezer manager, where I was able to make decisions at an operations level to keep shop and bulk freezer stocked and in a tidy manner, i was also responsible for planning stock locations in the shop display cabinets, and in the bulk freezer ahead of a specials week sale. Being able to think on my feet helped me to be able to maintain stock control during the specials week. All whilst being avaliable to help customers and take time to say hello to our regular customers.
