My work focuses on implementing WASH initiatives in schools, healthcare facilities, and communities, ensuring sustainable access to clean water and sanitation.Working withing ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy have extensive experience working in both the northern and southern islands of Kiribati, including Makin, Butaritari,Marakei, Abaiang, Maiana, Abemama, Nonouti, Tabiteuea, Onotoa, Beru, Nikunau, Tamana, and Arorae. My familiarity with the cultural differences between these regions enhances my ability to effectively engage with diverse communities.as a Public Relations Officer, where I honed my communication and outreach skills, being a Water Technician, gaining technical expertise in water systems and quality management.

WASH Project Officer

  • Role and responsibilities
  • Conducts community mobilization and training in selected communities, schools, and health facilities.
  • Work with communities, schools, and health facilities in conducting required assessments and evaluations. This includes baselines, midterm evaluation endline evaluation and other WASH technical assessments as required.
  • Assists in the preparation of project work plans and ensures planned project activities are implemented within the scheduled project duration.
  • Monitors implementation of project activities prepares and shares field reports with the WASH Manager
