I am an experienced WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Officer at Live and Learn, specializing in community engagement across six outer islands of Kiribati. My work focuses on implementing WASH initiatives in schools, healthcare facilities, and communities, ensuring sustainable access to clean water and sanitation.Working withing ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy have extensive experience working in both the northern and southern islands of Kiribati, including Makin, Butaritari,Marakei, Abaiang, Maiana, Abemama, Nonouti, Tabiteuea, Onotoa, Beru, Nikunau, Tamana, and Arorae. My familiarity with the cultural differences between these regions enhances my ability to effectively engage with diverse communities.as a Public Relations Officer, where I honed my communication and outreach skills, being a Water Technician, gaining technical expertise in water systems and quality management.
I have strong English writing and speaking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications, and a deep understanding of community engagement strategies. My experience bridges technical water expertise with advocacy and public relations, making me well-equipped to drive impactful of any community engagement, program awareness, and technical work.
