I am a passionate and enthusiastic artist who enjoys encouraging others in their artistic endeavors. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and community members to support student learning and achievement is an essential responsibility of a primary school teacher aide. People describe me as being hard working and motivated. I am detail orientated and driven to see a task through into completion. As a teacher aide, I strive to maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, behavior management, and social-emotional development. In the past I have used my skill and passion for the arts to lead teams of children and adults in designing and creating sets and props for numerous school productions and other school and community activities. I have been regularly involved with the planning and implementation of IEPs as well as a variety of inter-agency meetings involving planning and assessment.
