At the Swimming Pool Shop i worked both as a mobile pool technician and a customer service/retail assistant. I serviced and maintained a variety of pools and spas in Hamilton and surrounding areas. My general duties included fault finding, installation and servicing of pumps and pipework, general pool and spa maintenance.

My role also included retail sales across two stores, where I dealt with the general public, along with answering calls and emails advising customers of our products and services, refunds and complaints, as well as creating quotes and ordering products for both the customers and the business. I have experience with multiple retail point of sale software systems includes reckon, vend and Xero.

Due to my level of experience in the company I also undertook training of the new recruits to achieve company standards.

I visited a fruit orchard in Alexandra and helped with the process of packing stone fruit. this was a fast-paced job as there was a specific amount of fruit we had to pack each day. Each employee was assigned to a different sized bin where you would then go through and sort fruit into firsts and seconds.

This job required you to be attentive, if others bin around you were getting too full you would go and help them catch up which also meant you had to be capable of working in a

team.

My role was to assist with general duties in the fabrication workshop. Some of the work performed was high quantity parts correction using selected hand tool and jigs.

I worked in a special manufacturing unit, producing tailor made products for a repeat client. I also undertook general duties which included cleaning, part deliveries and pickups, line marking, and painting.
