Leah Ngaronga

My name is Leah Ngaronga, I am 15 years old and I am a year 10 student at Hamilton Girls High School. I like to spend time with family and friends, go shopping and I specially love watching films. Playing hockey and volleyball are a big part of my life and I really enjoy them. I have been a member of the Girl Guides for 8 years now and thanks to the association I have learned numerous skills over the years such as, teamwork, leadership, problem solving and adaptability. Through guiding I have had multiple opportunities to volunteer for some great organisations. That experience has given me a chance to see what it would be like in the work force. I believe some of my strengths are that I'm responsible, friendly, can work well with others and I can use my initiative. One of my weaknesses is the lack of real life work experiences, but I am confident that I will be able to learn and adjust smoothly. I'm very eager to gain my first job, earn my own money so I can become more independent.
