  • An amazing onboarding programme which included, introductions, store walk, H&S, training plans and follow up.
  • Sales - Achieving KPI's in both budget and store compliance including, vehicles, SiteSafe, health and safety, expiry dates, all Team standard operating procedures
  • Rostering to achieve and exceed KPI's and lead the team to ensure the smooth running of checkouts, customer service and loss prevention to give the customer an unforgettable experience
  • Performance Evaluation and Management – Conducting regular one on one discussions and yearly performance reviews with each team member. Leading disciplinary meetings when required.
  • Maintaining and Managing store assets – This includes organising building maintenance, servicing of all vehicles and workplace reviews

  • Accepting the role of a Wellington Based Cluster Manager, I managed a group of 7 stores Matting at around $5 million and a Team of 40. My main focus was supporting Store Managers to ensure they could get the best result out of their business, achieving budgets and growth year on year
  • November 2016, I accepted the role of Regional Manager growing my region from 7 to 11 stores, covering Gisborne down to Dunedin, directly reporting to the Senior Regional Manager of the brand as well as to the General Manager of The Just Group NZ. This included holding weekly conference calls with our Australia team around sales, visual merchandising, product, and marketing in NZ
  • Sales - With 11 stores Matting around $8 million with 70 staff, delivering store budgets and KPI targets to ensure sales budgets and growth on last year. Reporting on Productivity for both stores and Region, ensuring this remains in line with labour and in line with NZ and Australia.
  • Salaries - I work to a seasonal labour budget as a region to ensure all stores are achieving high productivity by not exceeding their base hours
  • Talent - coaching Store Managers in sales, salaries, talent and shrink through conducting quarterly Performance Updates on Store Managers as well as yearly performance reviews. Low labour turnover through promoting within other brands in the company
  • Shrink - working towards a season shrink budget through stocktaking summer and winter. conducting bi monthly Loss Prevention Audits on all stores and weekly LP calls on stores that post a stocktake result over budget. Delivering daily LP coaching through store visits to create team awareness.

  • This position is a pivotal role to the business as it involves leading an A-grade store in ensuring a high level of customer connection, and achieving budgets, targets, and KPI's.
  • Within a short time, I was promoted to Store Manager and after around twelve months I was offered the added responsibility of becoming one of five Senior Managers supporting all twenty three stores in New Zealand, with focus on Porirua, Lower Hutt and Palmerston North
  • In November 2014 I took over the Store Manager role in Smiggle Lower Hutt, Queensgate. Since taking over this store I have successfully managed to turn it into a profitable store in achieving seasonal budgets, KPI targets and store rankings.
