Personal statement
I am a very ambitious individual who is experienced within the administration field especially in the medical sector. I am a good communicator with proven interpersonal skills and am used to working in a team whilst also being capable of using own initiative. I am also mature and adaptable to all challenging situations and would always strive to complete tasks at the highest standard.
• Booking appointments for specialists and setting recalls if required.
• Respond to and process requests for referrals
• Document relevant phone conversations with patients and refer patient concerns or clinical queries to the appropriate health professional.
• Maintain the patient record management system; collate records, reports and information, ensure they are entered fully and accurately into the system and updated when required.
.•Booking and Managing Appointments for all enrolled patients while being the first point of contact in the clinic.
•Opening and closing procedures for the clinic on a daily basis which includes setting up the triage rooms, banking,and making sure the clinic is in a presentable state for parents.
•Handling claims for ACC,Immunisations, Maternity and General Medical Services and being responsible for all correspondence regarding all claims.
• Multitasking throughout the day between taking phone calls, dealing with the patients in the clinic, corresponding with the doctor and the pharmacist regarding scripts while completing and following up all tasks listed down for each day.
