I am as flexible as possible with hours (as long as it works in well with uni). have previous experience in the role and would like to gain more. have experience in leadership roles. Can react fast and effectively to any problems or issues that might arise, am a people person and have strong communication skills.
I am currently working as a lifeguard/lifeguard supervisor in Rangiora at Dudley park.
I am responsible for maintaining public safety through monitoring low to high risk individuals and positioning myself in the correct areas in order to be able to react fast and effectively if something goes wrong , ensuring water quality levels match the poolside NZ standards such as performing regular water tests and manually dosing the pools when necessary.
I am also responsible for the upkeep and cleanness of the facility such as regular cleaning, checking equipment for wear and tear.
When supervising I am responsible for lifeguard breaks, management of the poolside activity's such as inflatable or learn to swim lessons, helping to find cover when staff call in sick, making adjustments to suit if staff are late, sick or stressed, performing regular plantroom checks to monitor equipment and machinery and to alert management of any alarms and use understanding and experience to fix any issues if they occur.
For 3 months I worked as a bartender over in the U.K.
While there I was responsible for serving customers drinks fast and effectively, interacting with customers creating a good atmosphere and solving any issues, maintaining a clean bar and workplace especially during busy times so avoid wait times low stock and angry customers.
Helped to stock take ,fill up fridges and prepare for night shift, opening procedures setting out menus preparing cutlery and helping prepare food in the kitchen as-well.
Attending regular trainings to learn the cocktails and mocktails on the menu.
