I picked boxes of chips that were around 1kg to about 4kgs, and could hold 5-6 boxes at a time. I also helped with paper work, such as sorting cash and account customers, making sure the numbers were correct, checking the system for any flaws or issues. I helped load the Bluebird truck as well, which required a lot of fast heavy lifting, as it was normally afternoons/evenings when the truck came.

- I've been doing speech and drama for 5 years, and have recently won most promising performer as well as many other awards at my annual speech and drama competition, and joined a National speech and poem competition where I placed 3rd
- I have attended a National drama school called NYDS in Napier the past 2 years, which has expands my social speaking skills and makes me a very confident and valuable person to have when someone is in need of assistance
- I have also taken a leadership course through my school, getting to work with people i don't usually talk to, while learning how to lead with care and fairness
- I play netball outside of school for a women's league, as well as frisbee, and football and futsal occasionally, as well as having gone to many tournaments and even nationals, this helps me to keep fit and able to work in groups when under pressure
- In January 2026 I took a Red Leap Theatre course for students aged 15-20 (I was the youngest there) that highlighted group/ensemble work, and I was lucky enough to get the chance to direct multiple scenes, teaching me how to direct a large group
- I like to volunteer at ‘visions of a helping hand’ during the christmas break, being there “snow queen” at their christmas groto I spend a week entertaining young kids, talking to parents/adults and bringing the christmas spirit to life
