Summary

I was Born and raised in South Canterbury, where I gained NCEA at Pleasant Point High School, my love of cooking lead me to a couple of years at Aoraki Polytechnic gaining my Two Diplomas in Patisserie and Culinary Arts, while training I worked as many hours as I could at a local cafe.

I then relocated to the Bay of Plenty in 2005.

I have enjoyed my working life in the North Island, learning the ins and outs of different types of work and workplaces, all of which have helped me gain a good range of skills.

In 2013 my Husband and I got married after being together for a few years, that same year we purchased a run down holiday park with family.

The holiday park was in need of a lot of work, maintenance and renovations.

Working/Managing and living onsite I feel I gained many skills, from staff, accounting and the day to day running, health and safety, to gaining knowledge around social issues and managing guests.

During our time owning Sapphire Springs, I had three children who are now aged 9.5, 8 and 6.5, we decided in 2019 that we would like a change and a bit of a slower pace of life.

We purchased a block of land and have planted 500 avocado trees which are growing nicely.

I have been working part time in my own little cleaning gig, servicing my local clients which has worked well with my children/school.

Over the years I have also helped out on Dairy Farms, a friends Cafe, my parents owned an Industrial Laundry that I would help them out with, they serviced the underground mine and other local business' which included inductions into workplace in order to deliver on site and a number of other tasks and projects which have all attributed to my skillset.

I feel I am a keen hard worker, reliable receptive person that has empathy for others, I feel Im good at using my own initiative but also keen to learn the correct way and follow instruction, Im reliable and super punctual.

I appreciate any opportunity given to me and always grateful to have my health and the ability to be able to work
