I am a motivated Social Worker with comprehensive knowledge of social justice issues and systems affecting marginalized communities. Passionate about developing and facilitating programs to support communities in need. Collaborative and analytical advocate builds strategic partnerships, advocate for clients and advance change for communities in need.
I am a committed social worker who prides myself on my incredible work ethic, professionalism and strengths based approach to working with whanau. I work with whanau providing full transparency when supporting them. I ensure whanau are fully informed and involved in the decision-making process to strengthen our relationship. I have a genuine and empathetic approach to working alongside whanau. I am constantly reflecting on my practice and ensuring that it aligns with SWRB core competencies and the code of conduct.
I am open minded and am dedicated to receiving constructive criticism and feedback. I would like to grow with your organisation and involve myself in all professional development opportunities that arise to ensure my practice is up to date and current. I am adaptable to change at work and believe that every colleague has a role in inclusion and diversity, although our perspectives and opinions can be different, it is important to be respectful and understanding of each other.
I decided to embark on a new journey in a different field of social work to enhance my skillset, meet new people, grow as a social worker and take advantage of new opportunities. I am looking for a new, exciting challenge that will support my growth on a professional level and I am looking forward to supporting more whanau in need out in the community.
