Something about me:
Born in South Canterbury in 1968, currently 55 years old with two adult sons
I attended Mountainview High school, after which my career was predominantly in the hospitality industry.
In my spare time I love to upcycle furniture, im a keen gardener, have a creative brain. Im a big music enthusiast and regularly attend local outdoor events, I play pool in a local Ashburton team.
I keep good health and keep myself physically fit, which in turn makes me a reliable employee.
I have been in positions of trust, handling cash, locking up, opening up etc.
I pride myself in being able to turn my hand to almost anything and it has been my experience to fix plumbing, paint accommodation, repair furniture / appliances etc as well as gardening, driving etc.
I believe that occasionally in whatever position you hold you may be faced with the unexpected, this is where I thrive, thinking on my feet and solving problems with minimum of fuss.
My most recent position has been at Salmon Tales, this was a family run business and my time there was fabulous, i enjoyed learning new skills and being part of a progressive team with a high morale.
Salmon Tales ceased trading in December 2024 at which time i was made redundant. I pick up new concepts easily and am keen on up skilling to meet the needs for potential employment.
I hold a Full Clean Driving License and a Forklift license. Im a hard worker
