- Operating and maintenance of three CNC Laser Machines.
- Operation of CNC Laser cutting machine to a high level of proficiency
- Maintenance of machine every week, which includes inspecting machine head, clean and change lens, rings and water inlet and outlet valve.
- Change and fix water and oil hose
- Minor service of machine refrigerator, resonator and extractions
- Understand all paperwork and specifications to determine material, method and sequence of both operation and machine
- Machine programming in accordance with documented procedures
- Set tech tables to correct setting for optimum cut quality
- Monitor machine for any problems and diagnose any fault related to cutting quality
- Inspect and clean the rack and pinion rail of the machine
- Service of the machine, which includes change of resonator oil, water filter and extractions fume.
- Using the built-in software to align the laser beam via tape shot.
- Updating materials database for material usage and entering offcuts
- Updating the schedule to sign off jobs as they are cut
- Loading and unloading steel plates and parts from machine bed by using overhead gantry crane and forklift
- Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with the company Health and Safety policies.
