  • Operating and maintenance of three CNC Laser Machines.
  • Operation of CNC Laser cutting machine to a high level of proficiency
  • Maintenance of machine every week, which includes inspecting machine head, clean and change lens, rings and water inlet and outlet valve.
  • Change and fix water and oil hose
  • Minor service of machine refrigerator, resonator and extractions
  • Understand all paperwork and specifications to determine material, method and sequence of both operation and machine
  • Machine programming in accordance with documented procedures
  • Set tech tables to correct setting for optimum cut quality
  • Monitor machine for any problems and diagnose any fault related to cutting quality
  • Inspect and clean the rack and pinion rail of the machine
  • Service of the machine, which includes change of resonator oil, water filter and extractions fume.
  • Using the built-in software to align the laser beam via tape shot.
  • Updating materials database for material usage and entering offcuts
  • Updating the schedule to sign off jobs as they are cut
  • Loading and unloading steel plates and parts from machine bed by using overhead gantry crane and forklift
  • Ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with the company Health and Safety policies.
