- Over my School and University breaks I worked part time as a traffic controller all around the Selwyn district of Christchurch
- Entailed setting up work sites, fixing roads, keeping my colleges, cars, cyclists and pedestrian's safe on intense work sites.
- Always had to be alert and concentrated on the task at hand as many different factors at play that have drastic consequences if anything goes wrong
