Lucy de Jong

Molecular Biologist And Bioinformatician
Wellington,New Zealand

Summary

I am a molecular biologist with practical experience in bioinformatics and programming. I have had three years experience in the personalised medicine industry focusing on cancer therapeutics, analysing Next-Gen sequencing data and clinical research data to map tumour molecular profiles to help identify better treatment options. More recently, I have been working on viral alignments of the Sars-CoV-2 genome to identify mutations that might interfere with vaccine development.

I am highly motivated to grow my career around the central dogma of molecular biology.
