1 Week Paid Sales Training. Knocked on ~400 doors across Auckland. Faced a lot of rejection and built up a tolerance, as well as general speaking skills, building rapport, assuming the sale, SEE, creating urgency, being likeable, building a positive boat, etc, etc, etc.

Made 4 sales in my first week. I was signing people into a $30 monthly donation on a two year retainer for a donation to Starship Children's Hospital.

Painted the exterior/interior of three homes. Was just like a nice little summer job for a family friend.

Taught me how to work smart.

Did everything a waiter does.

However I used proper speaking skills (smile, expression, eye contact) as well as just pretending I cared about the customers life and asked them questions about themselves and was an active listener (credit to how to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie) to get more tips and sell more food.

I worked there for three months at a time over the summer of 2023 and 2024.

Made people vegan burgers on K Road when I was 15.

My first official job. At times I was the only person in the store and basically had to run the whole show by myself, taking orders, cooking, packing and then delivering.

Worked there over the summer holidays. I worked night shifts too. It was pretty fun.
