Luke Hadfield

I am currently employed full-time as a Service Vehicle Detailer at Mercedes-Benz North Shore. I have enjoyed my time here especially because of the great co-workers and environment, however, I am interested in moving on to another job that would work with my personal life better.

This is a busy role that has varied tasks which include:

• Cleaning and grooming customer vehicles.
• Chauffeuring customers and other staff members.
• Assisting with deliveries and pickups.
• Maintaing the layout of cars on the yard

I was previously employed part-time at Kmart Albany during high school. Upon completion of school, I was offered full-time work as the Stockroom Assistant. I supervised and coordinated the running of a large and very busy warehouse.

My role included but was not limited to:

• Preparing the stockroom for incoming loads
• Processing and coordinating deliveries multiple times daily
• Checking off stock and processing relevant paperwork
• Liaising with replenishment team and preparing stock for shop floor
• Assisting replenishment team with stock presentation
• Adhering to health and safety practices
• Customer service
• Checkout operations
• Loss Prevention

I was employed part-time as a Sales Assistant at Torpedo7 Albany, however during my school hours I picked up full-time hours. This was a busy role where I excelled at customer service and smashing sales daily. I learnt a lot about customer service and sales during my time there through experienced colleagues, managers and even just by myself. I enjoyed working with and helping customers get the right products for their needs and towards the end of my time in this role, I was the youngest yet top salesperson.

My key tasks included:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Providing clear and accurate information to customers on every product/service
• Creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for customers while they are shopping
• Cross-selling products
• Up-selling customers
• POS Customer Service
• Fulfilling online Click & Collect orders
• Helping customers via phone calls
