Luke Ranson

My name is Luke Ranson, I am 24 years old, and I have recently graduated from Massey University studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing. Since graduating, I have been floating around various jobs while looking for something more permanent. Specifically, I'm looking at the sales and marketing realm. I believe a job in sales or marketing offers me the best opportunity to learn and develop select skills that I view as most valuable moving forward in my career. At this stage, my priority is to get a foot in the door and use every opportunity to prove myself. In the medium to long term, I'd like to settle into a role, become a valuable employee, and progress within a business.

It's safe to say that a large part of my interests are associated with sports. While I gave up competitive cricket, basketball, hockey, and football after school, I’ve remained active through activities such as running and the gym. However, I’m still a huge fan of professional leagues such as the NBA, UFC, and PGA tour. I pour a lot of my time into activities such as the gym and running because of the fulfillment I get from enduring them. I believe that being consistent with these activities translates well into other facets of life, being disciplined and showing commitment.
