I am an 18 year old male in my first year out of high school and am looking to kickstart my career in an area related to cars and sales. I enjoy learning about cars as well as doing them up in my own time. This, in combination with my extroverted nature made the prospect of working at a place so relevant to my interests, very intriguing. I am a very driven individual who is keen to learn and put in the effort that is required to be a worthwhile employee. I see working at Turners Auto Retail Division as an amazing opportunity to kickstart my career in a well established business that, from what I understand, has a great company culture. I would greatly appreciate you taking the time to review my application and hope to hear back from you in due course.
Though only having worked here for a short time, I have found myself quickly establishing relationships with my coworkers and manager. It has allowed me to improve my customer service and inter-personal skills as well as giving me a sense of what a full time job is like.
This was another unpaid role I took on which operated over the Easter weekend. This role challenged me to work in a fast paced environment as I helped look after over 200 teenagers. I quickly took on tasks that were required of me and completed them to the best of my ability. I enjoyed conversing with a wide range of people, from the teenagers to my superiors and volunteer team members. I overall feel as though from this position, I was able to further increase my passion for people.
This job was an unpaid, volunteer position that had a duration of three days. Within this time I communicated with many people ranging in age and personality which allowed me to further develop my inter-personal skills.
This was my first job which taught me many thing such as discipline, self motivation and meeting deadlines. It involved folding and delivering papers in my area three - five times a week. I enjoyed this job and feel as though it has prepared me well for the work force.
This job required me to fold and deliver newspapers every day of the week from which I learnt many key characteristics. Some of these are time management, how to have a good work/life balance and overall resilience.
