I am good at problem solving and enjoy challenging myself to learn new information and understanding new tasks and responsibilities quickly and efficiently, as well as working to the best of my ability during high pressure situations. I work well with a team and on my own.
In August 2021, I had work experience in new entrant classes where I independently ran small group sessions focusing on artwork that connected with literature that the classes were reading at the time. Helping out the teachers with tasks such as marking the students' work, reading to the class, giving the students instructions on activities and what they were learning, and focusing on the day's lessons, answering any questions the students had. This work experience helped me get a better understanding of young children's social and emotional development.
during the year of 2019 I did some babysitting, looking after two children under the ages of 11. I looked after these children during the school holidays and the off days during the weekends, providing after-school care until the parents arrived home from work.
