Backpacking New Zealand

Kia Ora, I have been backpacking through New Zealand for five years on and off and was recently living in my van for a year while working and travelling. I have many horticulture experiences from backpacking, which I have left out. I am taking up hiking, rock climbing, photography, editing, skating and snowboarding opportunities. This can be a fulfilling and enriching experience. In addition, as Tangata Whenua, I could connect more to my heritage and ancestors. At the same time, travelling can be a great way to explore and meet people from all over the world where in most cases, I was living in work-share homes and mainly hostels. Overall, backpacking through New Zealand for five years, on and off, is an excellent way to gain valuable life experiences and broaden one's horizons.
