I have successfully completed a 7-week training program in a year-2 class under the guidance of an experienced associate teacher. During this period, I have acquired valuable skills and knowledge, including

• Acquiring proficiency in curriculum planning across all subject areas to enhance effective teaching strategies
• Learning how to deliver lessons effectively, using various teaching methods and techniques to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the subjects
• Create an inclusive learning environment that embraces children from diverse ethnic groups and diverse abilities, accommodating their varied needs
• Incorporating te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and NZSL in daily practice
• Have experienced leading the learning for 3 weeks
• Participated in professional development programs focused on Math and Science.
