Kiwigreen Monitor.

I have been working as a Kiwigreen Monitor every January for 10 years now.

• Led orchard teams in structured leaf collection in accordance with Kiwigreen program requirements.
• Scoped for, identified, and reported pest presence to support orchard biosecurity and fruit quality.
• Completed monitoring paperwork and documentation accurately and on time to meet compliance standards.
• Prepared monitoring bags, equipment, and resources to ensure teams were fully operational.
• Trained and supported new monitors, ensuring consistent techniques, and adherence to procedures.

Quality Controller

Work yearly in the main pack season and repack season for 10 years.

• Trained staff on quality standards and inspection techniques to enhance skills.
• Conducted regular inspections of quality control processes and products for compliance.
• Collaborated with production teams to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Documented inspection results and maintained accurate records for regulatory compliance.
• Analyzed product samples to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
• Facilitated interdepartmental communication to improve overall quality performance.
• Coordinated regulatory inspections and ensured proper documentation was maintained.
• Identified quality problems, recommended solutions, and implemented corrective actions.

Met with Zespri QA.

Last year, Diana and Jackie were away for two weeks, and I took on the responsibility of looking after the team, and also met with the QA on site.

• Meet QA when they come on-site.
• Trained repackers and stackers on where to check the pallets for the QA to check the fruits.
• Communicate closely with Coolstore Manager with the pallets for the QA
• Corrective action was done for QA on time.
• Checking in on the Quality team to see how they're doing while both the Quality Manager and the Assistant Manager were away at the time.
