Sorting, scanning, labelling all damaged and reworked product.

Maintaining up-to-date inventory records of all product entering Damaged Stores, and going to Rework.

• Co-ordinating with Rework Room and organising delivery of appropriate product for repair.
• 
  
• Co-ordinating with pallet makeup rooms to allow for the return of reworked product; and bringing supplies they need, Eg Slip-sheets, Pallet Wrap etc.
• 
  
• Working independently, under guidelines of Holds person - Marking, managing & separating "Hold" product as required.
• 
  
• Working with leading-hand and supervisors to find and implement solutions for various issues - eg. Unscannable cartons, re-occuring sources of damage.
• 
  
• Assisting Loadout Supervisor with any hard-to-find product. Forklifting bulk product to prepare for loadouts when requested.
• 
  
• Keeping Damaged Freezer Store area tidy and compliant; maintaining separation of specific products to meet compliance requirements.
• 
  
• Covering as a Carton Handler in makeup rooms when required - dependant on manning and Rework / Holds requirements

Driving 1.8 or 3 Ton Counter-Balance Forklift, and Racking Reach-Forklift in our busy coolstores. Working with 2-pallet-deep racking on a daily basis.

• Sorting, palletising, and scanning cartons. Forklifting pallets and racks safely in a fast-moving environment.
• Operation of, and correcting basic faults with mechanical carton (freezing) tunnel - Including following safe lockout and entry procedures.

Repair of mobile phones and laptops, including screen and charge port replacements. PC upgrades, and virus removal.

• Setup and running sound, video & lighting for entertainment events across the ship.
• Basic equipment repairs and general maintenance of sound, video and lighting equipment.
• Technical troubleshooting for Musicians / Entertainers.

Breakdown resolution & fault-finding, appliance servicing. New installations and testing of electrical equipment.

Including:

• Cable running and cable support installation.
• 
  
• Install and overhauls on 3-phase and single phase motors.
• 
  
• 24V control equipment, including conveyor systems, sensors, temperature control systems.
• 
  
• General lighting maintenance across plant.

Requirement for strict adherence to safe electrical isolation, lock-out and other health & safety procedures.

Certified in heights safety, scissor-lift, and confined space entry. (No longer current)
