Summary

I'm Malcom a 29 years old 2IC in Carbernz Farming LTD. I started working to my employer since September 2019 at Rerewhakaaitu Road Onuku Dairy 1. This farm has flat and rolling contour in some area. We have 600 milking cows through 54-aside herringbone with 2 staff including myself and the boss do the calf rearing. We finished two season in that farm, until my boss got a new contract in a large farm owned by Waerenga East and West Corporation. Me and my employer move in this farm and employed 4 new fulltime staff on June 2022. My boss upgraded to 1000 milking cows through a 70 bale rotary cowshed. The farm has 354ha dairy area and 190ha drystock. I'm currently working as a 2IC and it's my 4th season now in the same employer.

I am looking for progress to farm manager role. We are couple seeking for a small farm to manage with a minor supervision of the farm owner. My partner have done a bit of relief milking and keen to learn more.

I'm able to work in any type of farm and can easily adapt in a new system. I have a good stockmanship and look after cows health. I will make sure we are always producing high quality and grade free milk. I'm always willing to learn and ready for any challenges.

I am holding resident visa and my partner have a work visa partnership.
